A variety of topics are covered in workshops and individual coaching sessions. Below are some available topics. All programs are customizable, ranging from one session to ongoing work together. This is a good opportunity to polish or professionalize your written and verbal communication, rehearse that upcoming presentation, or receive coaching on moving to the next step in your professional life.
Move UP: this workshop focuses on improving workplace communication, advancing the means and methods used to communicate with peers, supervisors/managers, and direct reports. The focus will be on taking communication skills to the next level (particularly helpful when facing an upcoming or recent promotion), creating professional documents and reports, and developing and enhancing leadership skills.
Speak UP: this training focuses on verbal communication proficiency, enhancing the speaker’s ability to maximize effective and engaging delivery. Covering everything from speech writing and editing, delivery, receiving feedback, and managing audience expectations, this training will take your speaking skills from good to great!
Write UP: this training focuses on written communication proficiency, enhancing the writer’s ability to confidently take elevate written messages. Focusing on message shaping and clarity for the desired audience, while still paying attention to the basics like punctuation and grammar, this course will elevate your personal and professional writing skills.
Lead UP: this training focuses on community building for individuals and organizations. Strategies around community and team building, consensus making, and community identity and branding will be taught to current or future community leaders.
Act UP: this training teaches individuals and groups how to be a voice in their community. This workshop includes content on delivering verbal messages in public meetings such as town hall, school committee, and other settings. Also included is information on writing for public audiences, such as authoring a Letter to the Editor for local and national newspapers. Create grassroots activities and community leadership.
